Steps — Amazon website (desktop/mobile browser)

1. Sign in to your Amazon.in account.

2. Open “Redeem a Gift Card” page: https://www.amazon.in/gp/css/gc/payment/view-gc-balance (or go to Accounts & Lists → Gift Cards & Vouchers → Redeem a Gift Card). 

3. In the “Enter Claim Code / Voucher Code” box type (or paste) the 16–20 character code exactly as given.

4. Click Add to your balance / Apply to your balance. The ₹15,000 will be added to your Amazon Pay balance / Gift Card balance. Use that balance during checkout by selecting Amazon Pay balance as the payment method. 


Steps — Amazon mobile app (Android / iPhone):-

1. Open the Amazon app and sign in.

2. Tap the menu (≡) → Your Account → Gift Cards & Vouchers (or Manage gift card balance).

3. Tap Redeem another Gift Card / Enter claim code, type the code, then tap Apply to your balance. The balance updates immediately and is usable at checkout.

If it’s an Amazon-Pay voucher (different flow):-

Some vouchers (e.g., Prime vouchers or promotional vouchers) require adding under Amazon Vouchers or a specific page (like /vouchers) — follow the “Add a new voucher” box on that page. 

Common problems & fixes

Code says “already redeemed” — check if you used it on another account. If you didn’t, contact Amazon support with the voucher image and order details. 


“Invalid code” — retype exactly (no extra spaces), check for 0 vs O, 1 vs I, and country (use Amazon.in codes on Amazon.in).


Balance not appearing at checkout — ensure you’re signed into the same account where you redeemed the code; choose Amazon Pay balance at payment. 


Voucher has restrictions — some vouchers can’t be used for certain purchases (Prime via telco, recharges, or third-party sellers). Read the voucher terms.
